Call to residents of Easton to attend Special Town Meeting on April 5th.

As you are probably aware, the Shovel Shop Redevelopment proposal will go to Special Town Meeting on April 5th. No matter what your current opinion of the proposal is, I would like to encourage everyone in town to attend the meeting, listen to both sides of the argument and make your own voice heard! In the buildup to the STM, there will be many opportunities to read about and learn more about the details of this very complex project. There are many articles and discussions available on enterprisenews.com, wickedlocal.com/easton/, eastonmass.com, and the Town’s own website at http://bit.ly/91bP8r and http://bit.ly/br5jZL. You really owe it to yourself to learn about the issues, because no matter what the outcome of the votes on April 5th, there will be long-term impacts for the Town. The actual warrant articles have not yet been drafted, but once they are available, I will post them here.
