Election day is tomorrow, 4/27

Candidate Letter to the Papers

I will out of Town next week and I'm unsure whether or not the papers will run my letter, so I will post it here:

Dear Residents of Easton,
I am seeking your vote for a seat on the Board of Selectmen on April 27th. I am a graduate of Stonehill College and returned to Easton with my family four years ago to make this town our home. I am also a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School where I work part time. I volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Catholic Charities here in Easton and serve on the Board of the Friends of Frothingham Hall. Through my weekly service to members of our community I see firsthand the needs of our neighbors and decided to become more involved. Given my background in finance, I sought a position on the Finance Committee where we have endeavored to keep our town functional during these difficult economic times. As a member of the Board of Selectmen I will maintain my strong commitment to fiscal responsibility and measured use of taxpayer dollars. I look forward to the prospect of serving the town in this greater role and would truly appreciate your vote.
